project b2600: my 87 project 4x4

Oh don't get mgr wrong, if it's well taken care of it could last forever, my 2600i has almost 300k miles on it and still runs great, but I've had our for about the last 100k, and have done my best to keep up on the maintenance. The mitsu motors just weren't known for being great repair motors (otherwise they would have kept up production) and most people got them late with lots of miles and not regularly maintained and we all know without good maintenance nothing will last... Everyone tells me my motor is notorious for overheating issues... Me... No problems yet...

hahahahaha yep. mine runs decently with the weber but damn the topend is noisy and smokey haha. i just recently ticked over 170k but i am positive it needs a new head

ok, i figured out its the ignition switch. the electrical side of it thats y she aint keepin on runnin when i put the key to the on postition. so i gotta find one from a rig that will fit for a decent price rather than payin 100 freakin bucks or more for it. but i dono if a 2200 or anything under the 2600's will work or even a 2600i lol. but i did install some new 6x9's in her lol. and yes leland all my lights are off lol. and the battery tested out good so the only thing i can think of is the switch lol. but all well lol. but soon as i get some light and get off early lol ima do an oil change and put some lucas oil stabilizer in her lol spose to stop the smoking and see how she does lol hopefully it will work lol.

lame... i hate that kinda ish. electrical problems blow. so as of right now my truck is in the shop getting new front end components installed and some new rear brakes. then this friday my new wheels and tires will be in. it was a birthday present from my mom early hahaha. it was needed so damn bad though. my truck was getting downright scary to drive

and these are the tires. i ordered wild peaks but these are the same exact tires just a diff name idk why they have two names for the same tire lol

they are gunna look sick on that truck mate. i got some micky thompson tires comin my way lol for free lol with about 40% tread left lol and they are 16 inch rims lol. i dono about the size though lol

haha thanks man i am so stoked you cant even understand haha. thats not a bad deal considering how long truck tires last lol. so today i took on the burden of doing my water pump and i have never done anything that major before by myself. i got the pump on today but have to fill it and put the new belts and the fan back on tomorrow. i wonder if anyone can help me figure out how to bleed all the air from the coolant system...

to bleed the air out all you have to do is just take the rad cap off after you start it and you fill it before you start it. take it off and let the truck idle and as the level in the rad goes down just keep adding antifreeze till its full and the bubbles come out. thats about the only way i can think of going about it. but yea dude im freaking stoked. and if they dont fit i will sell them lol.

yea i seem to have gotten it all bled out. had some issues with my thermostat housing but its all sorted out. i am going to get my new tires on today at noon got an appointment and everything so i will have some pictures up tonight or tomorrow. what size are the MT tires you are picking up? i have 31
x 10.5s on my truck and they fit pretty damn nice lol

nice. i cant remember what size they are lol but i know they are a 16 inch rim lol which is great cuz i got some summer rims that are 16's lol
