Thanks, bro. I actually hadn't thought about chaining the control arms. I had thought about installing them at an angle so the control arms didn't "see" the full 10".
The daughters car is an '86 Z-28. Originally, a carbed 305 car. That motor is still in it, but it'll cost more to rebuild the motor than the car is really worth. It's a solid car, no rust, decent interior, new brakes, new tires, front end is tight w/ new tie rods, etc. It was a buddies daily driver but started running hot and after replacing pretty much everything (I think it had a bad head gasket) it started knocking and was parked.
