I'm sure he would be! Hell, I'm jealous! I know I have room for another B truck around here!

I love to see these trucks getting the love and massaging they deserve.

Got a question on the Radiator you got from O reilly's.... It looks like polished Aluminum. When I went to their webpage, the ones I see for my 1989 Mazda B2600i 4x4 are all BLACK. Did you have to request polished Aluminum or chrome?

Dan, I know EXACTLY what your talking about on those stupid AC vents. I had mine out to work on the dash, and ended up breaking a vane or two putting them back together.

Looks good Dan! Keep it up, heck your motoring right along with this!
On the steering column, every one I've seen has been rusty like yours.....it's just a surface rust because those are bare metal when they're installed. I would just wipe the dust off the areas that you can get to on it, and let it fly.......I doubt it will get any worse unless you just leave the doors open for a couple of years! LOL, then you would have to clean out more mud daubers nests!

Heck, get a tilt column and you can paint it all up before you install it!

Oh, you can get you some spray silicone, spray a little puddle of it on something plastic and dip a small paint brush in the puddle of silicone and dab it on all of the hinged areas of those vents (after they're good and clean!) louvers and they will operate a little smoother!........don't forget to clean up the puddle of silicone when your done!

LOL, I just saw this and had to comment!
Those are DRAIN HOLES in the glove box.......so when you try and use so called "Cup Holders" in the glove box lid when it is opened, and you slam on the breaks.......the soft drink that just flew into the glove box will slowly drain out of those 2 holes, so will the ice that was in your cup.....once it melts!

No, I didn't find this out the hard way........it's just some of us have the gift to foresee things like this!!

You know when I first saw those cup holders in the glove boxy door, I just had to ask WTF were they thinking?

wow i'm glad i found this. your doing the same thing i'm doing to my truck buy maybe just not as hardcore. haha

i've got a lot of little things done but one thing that really bugs me is the slop in the auto shifter. do you know what bushings take care of that problem? i don't have a problem with it staying in gear but it flops around like a fish out of water.

i also keep forgetting but i need to fix the HVAC doors and vents. so many little projects but my truck has come a long way and it looks like so has yours.

one last question, is that a OE center console? i need cup holders asap lol
