And Then He sold the Mazda To Me. And I Pulled the Motor Back out To be replaced with a Remand One..

It was leaking a quart for every 40 miles so it was time to do something about it.

Oil pouring down both sides of the motor looks like the head gasket might have failed.

Oooooo 2 and 4 look Nasty!

More to follow When the New Motor arrived on the 4th of Feb...

Thanks for all the Hard Work Brad I'll take it from here. Going to the Shop Tuesday the 29th of Jan for a Fresh coat of Paint... and a New attitude.....

Wow that was quick... he was all jacked to get it back then a couple of months later he sold it off again lol.

Anyway it's nice to see somebody will take good care of it and fix it up! These trucks are slowly vanishing the streets. Good luck with it

no i dont mind. the truck ran fine after i resealed the motor, sold it off. got it back, then i had the oil consumption issues.

performed a leak down and cyl #2 was prety much toast the oil ring was gone, along with bad valve guides in cyl #4 and a leaking rear main i could see why there was so much oil consumption.

i was fed up with the truck, after all the dead ends and hick ups, Ed and i came up with an agreement i couldnt really refuse. I know the truck is in good hands now and will get the proper attention it deserves. good luck with the build man. Ill be checking in every so often.
