going with the 2200 gasket this time, i think the holes in the b2k gasket are too small, might be why it had so much pressure, but b4 i blew any hoses it didn't pressurize much at all, temp stayed between both cool lines on the gauge (low temp thermostat) and the radiater hose never swelled or got really hard to squeeze, just unlucky i guess.

New head bolts would be a good investment. Might not blow again if there replaced and torqued correctly. I never use head bolts over even if they are not Torque to Yield. But if i recall i think they are. Fel-Pro hasnt ever let me down. I would have the head Re-Surfaced and new head bolts. Once and done. Good luck

just used the bolts from the other truck cause they only been used once. they treaded much nicer, the old ones wiggled even when threaded all the way into the head, and I re-torqued them 3 times b4 the gasket went, and when I took the head off, most were finger loose again. been 400 miles and these haven't came loose yet, I went to re torque them the other day and they really didn't need it but I gave them a lil turn anyway just to be sure. haven't lost one drop of coolant or oil.
