I love those wheels!

I'm un decided on wether to keep them or not tbh, I like the look of bigger wheels but on the other hand I've had these wheels on 3 of my b2000's now and I'm quite attached to them...... Decisions decisions..

Anyhooo..... Bodydrop done!..... I wish!!
It's sitting on the flat workshop floor now nice and level and the two long fillet panels are in place along the door shuts.
Since putting it back on the floor I noticed that even with 15" wheels I have a few clearance issues.
I need to remove more metal from the inner arches than I originally intended and it looks like I may have to use a remote brake servo. Is that something you normally come across on your lhd trucks?

Small update

I havent really had the chance to do much on it lately due to work and having a couple of cars in the workshop to be wrapped meant no cutting grinding or welding.

The biggest issue at the moment is the pedal box being in the way of the tubs. Im going to have to modify the accelerator pedal arm and the clutch master cylinder mounting point and linkage. The brake servo will definately be too large to get any kind of steering lock with 18's or 20's but i will find a smaller servo as and when it becomes neccassary.

in this last pic you can see why i need to drop the motor a little bit more. even with the holly carb it still sits about an inch too high to fit the bonnet on.

you could always cut your hood, or add a cowl induction hood? me personally, i'd fab up a cowl inducion style intake, means less works seating te motor and much easier to cut the hood lol. just my 2 cents, nice truck man!

Cheers buddy.

It's going to have a shotgun scoop cut through the bonnet once I can source one over here but the motor still sits too high. The rocker covers touch the bonnet when the carbs are removed unfortunately.
The fella that did the engine conversion cut a few corners so it needs to be done properly anyway.
I guess these are the joys of buying a part finished project.

Right guys
I've come to a complete standstill with this as I'm struggling to find someone to supply me a half decent triangulated 4 link kit.
I only have eBay to find a supplier and so far I have purchased 2 kits on there but haven't received an invoice from either seller to include the pre arranged postage.
I really need the rear suspension set up before I can go any further so can any if you guys recommend a TRUSTWORTHY supplier that will ship to the uk?

Why don't you look at pics? Find out what others have done and make it yourself. Nothing for our trucks is bolt and go. You are going to have to weld on your truck no matter what.

When I do a 4 link I plan on using the front spring perch and then making my own top bars and cross-member. I am not doing bags but coil-overs.

I can't make my own as the parts for doing so over here come to in excess of $800 without the machining for mounts which I have been quoted nearly $1000 for cnc cut plates plus threaded inserts etc.
Now I'm not short of a few quid so could easily pay for what I need but that would be stupid when there are companies that have what I need on the shelf, albeit in a different country and requiring a few modifications to suit my requirements and for only a couple hundred bucks!.

What he is saying is you are going to have to have everything welded even if u buy a kit. There are places u can buy order to ship link kits but u have to weld tabs and crossmembers on.

Really?? And here I was hoping to superglue it all together. Guys c'mon!!

Google only comes up with 2 results for places that sell universal kits, neither of those will ship outside the us. I know a few guys in here have used off the shelf kits but with no links to where they came from or recent recommendations it's difficult knowing where to look.
