Very Nice

Well its been a while since I last posted on here. Life has gotten busy and the beast has been sitting waiting for me. I decided to install an aluminum radiator to keep the engine temps down. Nothing worse than having to blast your heater in the hot weather to keep the truck from over heating.

I made some steel brackets to bolt into the stock radiator mounting holes. now that I have them mounted up I am pondering changing them a bit. I also picked up a stainless steel radiator hose kit to clean things up a bit. As you know when building a project things can sometimes be tight. Let me know what you think of the pictures.

Thanks dealwithit! Ya shifting the 5speed feels like a semi truck! Lol got some bands for the 18"s a little while ago, and forget to post some pics. Here you are tho.

On Friday I ordered up some steel to fab up some step notches and bag brackets... I'll post some pics wen I get it later this week.

Anyone know where to get some cheap adjustable 4-link ends?

holy tiny tires! haha

You looking for poly bushing ends or heim/rod ends???

Ballisticfabrication.com has rod ends for a good price. Everywhere is getting expensive on poly bushings though. So good luck with that route.

i just bought a full rear 4 link kit off ebay for 290$ shipped, 4 rods with bushings, link mounts, 2 bags, upper and lower brackets. i dont think you can beat that

Truck is clean. I am going to order my link ends and the rest of the parts from illusive fabrication and design. No place is cheap, but his are built as good as any others and fair priced.

Thanks guys! I'll have to check out those guys for my 4link.

Some progress, I picked up an almost new, 10" drill press for $60! Been looking for one for a long time and was getting tires of upswing a hand held drill to make my holes. Now I'm stocked to use it to make the front bag brackets.

Then this afternoon I went and picked up the steel for the truck but they orders the wrong stuff. I ended up sending back some

Haha these smartphones can be tricky!

I sent back some 3"x1-1/2" tubing. Now I'm waiting again for them to get in some 3"x4" OD 3/16" steel for my notches and 4link cross member.

So I can start cutting out my front brackets.... Using the good old angle grinder with a cut off wheel lol one day I'll have the metal bandsaw

invest in a cutting torch or a cheap ebay plasma for cutting out plate. i have both, personally i prefer the oxy-acet torch, if your smooth and keep the tip clean you can make really nice cuts, very quickly. you can also use a propane bottle (20lb from your bbq) with a propane tip for really really cheap cutting and bending.
