I doubt i will ever do fender mirrors, strict state inspection laws. Fin bs here in maine. But w.e. i can get away with the lowering by doing it after inspections over and again raising before inspections.Of course friends in inspection stations help with that, luckily no smog testing

The mirrors will be going on tomorrow! But in some bittersweet news, there is a possibility the truck will no longer be mine. It's staying in the family though, which makes me very happy since it's my first vehicle. I may be selling it back to my dad (who gave it to me) to buy a really nice Subaru Impreza 2.5rs. I'll still get the grill painted and maybe get that new steering wheel for it before it actually changes hands though. The guy with the Subaru hasn't got back to me yet though, so nothing's certain yet except that the truck is going to look rad as hell with my new mirrors :3

Idk man, I love the truck, but those are really tempting for me. I fell hard for 'em last year, and think about it. AWD 4 door turbo(I think) sedan, that's literally the perfect car for me. Take my friends and family with me, and have fun with it too(not necessarily at the same time lol). I do plan on buying the truck back from him though because I love it, and would never completely abandon her. I'd still be driving her from time to time doing furniture deliveries with and/or for my dad. That's what he originally bought it for, as a temporary vehicle until he got another truck, and then later he gave it to me. Now he's looking for a new one though, so we'll see what happens.

Mirrors are on! Unfortunately I had him put them on a little bit too high on the fenders to see behind me xD But I'm not worried about it, eventually I'll get it redrilled. It only needs to go down a couple of inches and it should be fine, and when I repaint the truck I'll have them work out all the dents and whatnot, including the original holes Pictures later tonight!

Ah that sucks. I clamped mine on before i drilled to get the right spot.

After a bit of finaggling and figuring out how to properly adjust the mirrors, I got the drivers' side pretty good! I'm going to move it farther down in the future anyways, but it'll more than work for now! I just have to take that inner fender out from the right side tomorrow to adjust the other side. You won't believe what we did, I'm still facepalming at this. We tilted the one on the right side so it faces me more, because at the time I didn't know how adjustable they were Lmao I literally am such an idiot xD That's why I have to take the inner fender out again tomorrow, but at least it's easy work. Pix in a few! I don't have a phone that can upload them onto the computer so I have to get them from my friend :/
