My Redline Weber K675 kit came with a 1.5 inch high air cleaner and K&N-type re-cleanable element. However, I did upgrade to a 2.5 inch high version, got it at a local import store that specializes in old VWs (BAP Import Parts), so they had air cleaners for the various aftermarket Webers that are also used on VWs in stock.

I still have that 1.5 inch complete air cleaner and re-usable element, PM me if interested.

installed the weber. pulled a bunch of vacuum/electrical lines in a frenzy, not sure if i have the right ones hooked up, or the right ones plugged, could find no schematic. it actually started, and ran, sounded nice, not once, but twice...then sputtered to a halt. has a new fuel pump and seems to be getting fuel. relatively sure i've got the electric choke wired, (is that to get power with the key in the on position?). replaced cap/rotor/pickups, plugs/wires. could the coil be firing inconsistently? is there an accurate vacuum/electric diagram available?
