Yeah I've noticed that if I shift correctly the noise is basically non existent.
I ran sea foam today and the ticking became much, much less prominent and the throttle "sweet spot" for the tick narrowed as well.
I just ran more of the bottle through the PCV while the engine was actually hot instead of just warm and there was even more than before. I'm going to add some to the oil as well as 1qt of some thinner oil to keep her cool for a week or two until I do an actual oil change.
*Babying her until I have saved enough for a donor engine and a hydra lift so I can swap. Really hoping she stays "Reliably unreliable" long enough.
