You're helping a ton!! So, the 2 reds are going to the positive on your battery, and the black to a ground??

Too small of wire! When I upgraded my alternator the shop told me to enlarge from the stock size wires. Think I went to 8 or 10 gauge .

well too small for the battery output... but not the voltage regulator lol, pay attention to what wires go where.... i wouldnt use 8-10 either i would use 4 ga as thats stock.....

Thanks for the part # and the wire info. Went in today and bench tested the alternator...of course it passed. So I'm pretty sure it's the wiring. I'll probably throw a new belt on just to be safe, and go from there. Trying to get done by the Ludikris show, but I'm running out of time!!

Well, just picked up my one wire during my route at work. Don't get off until 7:30 tonight, then I'll get it in and see what's up. You were dead on bro, $55 after a %10 discount they gave me, for whatever reason. The flywheel is different than the one I have. This one is like a V, where as mine has grooves, like my belt. Are they transferable?? I haven't taken the core back yet, but if I can switch it out before I take it back I will.
