seems to be a state by state thing. all we have to do here is let the registration run out. nothing will ever be said about it unless its sitting in the yard and somebody complains. then, couple years later, just go the the dmv w/ the title and an old registration and new tags are handed over. I guess thats the good side of living here, bad side is the troopers can take your tags on the spot and you'll have to tow your truck home, and unless you fix it(back to stock) you can never tag it again(they block the vin at dmv). oh well, atleast we dont have smog laws yet.

CA is more strict, it blows. I ran all the vaccuum lines, I've got a little over 30 feet of lines in the engine bay.

damn i hav never heard of that before, having too many extensions... i was able to have as many as i want, just keep on giving reasons why i havent smogged it yet, oh well man i sorry o hear that and i hope everything goes as planned

If your truck fails a smog once, it has to be smogged every 2 years within a certain time frame for 6 years. The time frame is like 3 months or something, somehow I fall into this category.

Well, trucks got to drive to get it there though, lol. I think I can do it though. I may be able to turn it over and break in the motor next weekend. And we have a club smog guy here thats lenient. Basically just has to pass at the pipe and he charges us $20. I just have to get ti there.

yeah if we fail smog here u just fix it, and try again, there is no 3 rule and your out thing.. just a trial and error... and i know cali sux, i used to live in san diego and fuck, to get the yota registered and smoged, u had to get it weighed, then the sticker was missing from the door jamb so we had to goto the highway patrol and have them check it out, then give us a sticker, then go back to the dmv, and get it weighed again... fuck that shit dude... vegas isnt as bad as cali, but i see it getting there soon.

its been 2 years since i've regestered my truck lol they don't care here either but if you fail the test you have 30 days to fix it or your regestration is no good lol
