not trying to start controversy, lol, i was just stating something, personally makes no sense to me to primer something (especially with a gun) when the body work (on the blinker) has yet to be finished. sorry if i offended anyone, by no means was that my intention. if it hasn't had body work and its going to be getting some, than i apologize and i assumed wrong.

The entire truck is bare metal, with primer shot over it to seal it because it won't see bodywork for at least another month, and it needs to be driven. And you can put filler on top of epoxy primer if need be.

So there is no bondo there. I was stating that the fender looks pretty straight for not having any filler.

oh ok, see i did not know that so thank you for clearing it up! either truck is fuckin awesome.. when will you start driving it?

^i believe it has to be mobile in a couple weeks or so for smog test purposes.

Yup. 18 days.

smog purposes? is the reg. up in 18 days?? why not put it on a n on op?? or does this give you a deadline?

I hate explaining this to everyone..

Basically, I'm in a sticky situation with the DMV, I can't put my truck on nonop because of the stuation I'm in, and I'm at the end of my extensions to have it smogged. If I don't meet the deadline I get my title revoked and my plates melted.

damn that sucks

thats weird dude.... i can have my truck without being smogged or registered for as long as i want... the dmv wont do shit.. and when i finally do go to get it all done, i just sign a waiver that says the truck hasnt been on the roads..
ive done it like 3 times with other vehicles... my shit was supposed to be registered by dec. 16 of 2006
its in pieces right now in my garage.. opps , didnt make that deadline
