LOL halco did yours come with a 1/4" PTC 1/8 NPT or did it come with 3/8" PTC 1/4 NPT? I I know I have some 1/4 - 3/8 reducers but none of the 1/8th left.. I may have to go to HD or lowes

Well i have a problem.. Either A) That switchbox is wired wrong (bought it used) B) I didn't label my wires correctly.. I wired it up with Sucided doors diagram and then i did it with FBIminis diagram... So now I have a few options.. A) Re-trace my wires correct them if they are wrong, or if they are correct i will have to B) Re-wire the box or C) Pull the toggles and finish up the console/switch panel I was making... None the less my train horns will be here tomorrow.. And I should resume progress tomorrow... I somehow got it side ways with those crazy switches and got two pics.. Enjoy

my horn came with a 3/8" ptc fitting. it looked just like the one thats pictured on the horns you bought. i just unscrewed the ptc fitting out and it left a hole, then i took a 3/8" compression fitting and threaded it into it with some sealer. took less than 5 minutes. 3/8" line is really cheap, you can buy it by the foot if you dont have any. i had a buddy that had 2 feet extra so he just gave it to me. my whole truck is done with 1/2" lines so i just ran a tee off my tank and reduced it to a 3/8" compression fitting and then ran it to the horn. off the other side of my tee i ran it to my valves like it was before. im not sure what NPT stands for. lol. if you need a fitting to fit, i can get you one and mail it to you if need be. ill snap a pic of mine tonight.

when you wire up your box, just wire it up so the individuals work and the rest of the switches will fall into place. just do one wheel at a time. follow the dump and up valves with the 4 wires to the box, use their diagram and play with the wires until it goes up with up and down with down. when i had my 10 switch, i remember it was a lil backwards, if the box was in my lap up was down and down was up... but like i said just do one wheel at a time using the individuals, the other switches will fall into place.

NPT = National Pipe Thread... FNPT = Female and MNPT = Male..

Anyway it should just be a stadard fitting.. I have a 1/2" PTC T that im gonna stick on one of my line under the truck and run it straight up to the horns.. and im gonna put a 1/2" PTC on the horn so it will fit right in place..LOL
