Get some PB blaster, or an impact gun.

Or you're just gonna need PB Blaster and a huge breaker bar with some tubing on the end. Remember you have to have a wrench on both sides, but an impact would break it loose. Also a good trick to shock it loose is to tighten first.

I just cut mine out, crossmember and all.

lol, I would love to do that, but then I'd have to ride the bus to school.

I'll see if the neighbor has an impact wrench I could borrow.

I was cruising around today and saw a 79-81 style motorhoome sittin in someone's driveway. That thing would be sick to bag. Lots of room in the back for subs.

Oh, whats a PB Blaster?

It digs into the threads to loosen them. Smells like orange soda but doesn't taste good.

Got a pnumatic impact wrench, another attempt in the morning.

If I want rims what measurements do I need? I remember you said they were hard to find.

On a 7" wide wheel you need 35-40. But 38 or more would be ideal, 35s rub the fender a little on the way up. With a 7.5 you need 45 minimum, 48-53 is best though. 8" wheels don't come with the right offset to fit these trucks and tuck.

As for tires, with a 7" wide, run a 205 series. with 7.5 run a 215, no wider.

OK, I read that three times but I think I got it.

Thanks

So far ive been drivin to school every day and the only major problem was cheap ass tire retread coming off on the highway. So I figured i'd better go buy tires. 4 brand new Michelins now, 200 bucks I think. Cosco sale.

if your still trying to get the torsion bolts loose try some heat. You have a cutting torch or maybe a propane torch?? Thats what I use on stubborn bolts and nuts. Its amazing what a little heat can do.
