Thanks man, yeah I'm triangulating to the back. I still haven't found a rack and pinion to replace the factory steering know of any short oneS? lol

I'm not sure how much play was there with out them being triangulated, I just wanted to use something to replace that locator bar( still not sure what it's called lol) to keep the front end stiff.

What size tire are you running? I have to double check but I'm pretty sure I set it up so I could run a tire through the fender even though I won't, just wondering how big I can go with out having to modify the fenders. I love your wheels cable.

thanks bro I love these wheels to!!!I was at the right place at the right time,my buddy hooked me up,otherwise I could never have afforded them, they came off an old minitruckin' feature truck called "sole survivor-bad ass truck btw! how come you want to go to rack and pinion? with my truck bodied 3.5,but rockers still holding me up a 1/2in. on the 18's with a 35 series I'm pushing up the fender lip about a 1/4inch,how much b/d you gonna do?

Do you have any pictures of that truck? I want to see it!

I'm more of a performance guy then dragging, the rack and pinion will take up less room, and it should stiffen up the steering. Plus I love the look of a polished or painted rack lol

Your truck should be body dropped more than mine. Johnny cut it all when he started it so I'm not sure about the exact measurement. I'm just going to cut it all back out and make the body even with the frame underneath after I roll the pinch weld on the rocker. It is probably like 3" or close.

I'll probably run the same size combo you're running I think it looks perfect for these trucks. I like my wheels to look proportional lol

Welp I'm all done until next week. I should be able to make the frame mounts next week, and I'll finally have the lower arms fabbed up.

Anyone have a 5spd transmission around Atlanta, GA for sale?

Anyway here are some pics I got the other side done, and tack welded the top plates to both arms.

Today's Update:

I put the frame back on the floor so I could modify the upper control arms and check to make sure they didn't bind while laid out. I still have to make the frame mounts for the triangulated lower control arms then that will be all fabbed up.

I decided to put the wheel on and take some pics from the angle it should be seen.

Baha, does the bag up front fully compress or is that not the final overall tire size? To me it looks like your going to be riding on lots of pressure up front from the way the bag looks. Just making sure now, before you get much further.

We'll there's a couple things keeping it from fully compressing the upper control arm isn't on, and I'm going to be running a bigger tire like you said.

Don't worry man I've done my homework lol
