You dont have to. In cases like this you gotta remember to replace structure with shape. If you have a flat sheet and need to to be strong you can either weld a piece of square to it or you can put a bead roll in it. Giving sheetmetal shape will strengthen it and it will become self supportive.

And yes the 4runner door is different. The B pillar is slanted and the pickups are straight vertical.

that'd be easy if i had a bead roller lol. I'll make some thatll do it.

Whoever did it owns a little red nissan or toyota, like late 80s. So if I see em again you better believe I'm gonna raise hell. I'm gonna go invest in a nice aluminum softball bat.

I have a bead roller, only like an hour drive.

I might have to take you up on that. only I dunno how that'd work cause my truck isnt mobile, but I guess I could make templates and bring those.

side note: I built a new box for my DD, and I'm looking for another infinity perfect 10. If you guys know anybody thats got one let me know. looking for SINGLE 4ohm voice coil only.

I bought a deck today at denios that was "new".... yeah it doesnt play any sound, and there was a CD in it. Sounds like a new deck right?

Tried to solder my bigger aluminum line to the steel line comin out of my tank. Yeah that didnt work... the solder wont stick to the aluminum no matter how many times I tried or how much flux I applied.

so I ended up just welding on new steel lines. need to do the frame side of the fuel lines now. In the process of building a new dash support and then bending up and aluminum dash board. rear disk brakes are done, just need to get the braided lines.

Mounted up my aluminum overflow tank, came out alright. I'm thinkin about running some clear radiator hoses. Built some pedals with 3/8" chain and steel rings. I need to do somethin different with the rings though. The two side by side on the brake pedal look like some nuts dangling. Might do one big oval or somethin. If I remember I'll take pics tomorrow and post em up.

added the rod across the bottom to make it not look so much like nuts.

I dunno if I'm really diggin the pedals. Might change em up a little bit. I decided to go with all AN fittings for the brake and fuel system since I had to buy a new flare tool anyways. I hadnt bought any fittings for that yet so it worked out. Been working on getting those together and this beauty here. Yes it is on my bedroom floor.
