1st- When I Z it,It will make the steering rod to long ,Right?
2nd- If i get drop mounts will I have to mod the oil pan?
Sorry but i have to ask 3rd- Should I Bd it 1st or after?Cause i know you have to drop the frame horns to match the bd right?
Im on the hunt for drop mounts .Just getting the parts together.
I will be channeling the floor if it makes a diff.

1 - no

2 - its avoidable if you mod the crossmember or if you don't mind your pan rubbing the corssmember a little.

3 - I would Z the frame before bodydropping. If you do the bodydrop first your frame wont be flat but the frame will. I would probably just do both at once.

Drop mounts are easy to aquire.

Again this is for next winter!
So i have to Z it 1" 1/2" to lay and If i cut 1"& 1/2" off the pinch i need to bd it 3" to lay flat.
That would mean i need to drop the frame horns 4 1/2"?
Or how does that work?
Think i will be able to keep my hood? Its got a 4 runner cowl in it And its not going to have the insert in it.
So after you guys fix my math what drop mounts should i use?

Basically the 1" mounts work for pretty much everyone. Its good from a BD to the pinch to the rocker without anythign touchign the hood and very little mods. Cut rockers and doors trucks use the 1.5" mounts.
