oh and i just noticed the actual post question lol the reason the frame is under the axle really is just for the looks and shock value of it plus it looks real cool when you look through the rear tire opening and see a painted frame behind the rim on the ground lol. but like dave said we also got a few more inches out of it being like this

those rear bars DO seem a little skimpy. Even after a "full cradle"under them, the bars will still be skimpy. why wouldnt you just use a thicker bar and not have to worry about beefing up a thin bar??

i'll never comprehend the 50/50 aka the ForVerse (forward reverse) 4 link.... ughhhh.

those are 1/4 inch wall unmodified gravity werx 4link bars. trust me mike builds some killer 4link bars. they are super beefy. they already have a big gusset under them and with the craddle under them they will be that much stronger. they will hold up just fine how they are actually but i always over build stuff. but hey this is ssm they will say it needs 3inch solid steel for the bars then next post say how the weight from the solid bar is gonna make the v8 struggle up a hill. gotta love the hate. keep it coming just fuels the fire to build sick shit that you can't compete with

oh and to the 50/50 setup question yes it is a 50/50 yes i know 50/50 are not the best setup but this thing has had a 50/50 on it for years and if any of you know paul you know he does not baby this truck at all. he has driven it hard and put tons of miles on it and has had no problems with it. so ha lol and it rode great to boot and the new setup only has like 2 degree of change through whole travel.

if you inflate the bags with an actual body on that frame its gonna bend the bars all to hell. if by some miracle it lifts then you actually drive it and turn the bars are gonna bend as the side load comes on and the rearend goes from one side to the other.

i'll wave when i rail by mike

as far as side to side load.... what difference does it make if the frames over or under the axle? just curiousand our main reason for this was to save floor space. Not to have a "cool" looking chassis. Rather - we will have a cool looking floorboard haha. instead of a 2 ft tall notch in the rear floor. I'm not concerned if i get 20" inches of lift (not sure why thats so popular when its not needed but to each his own)i accept all the criticizm gladly though. I criticized it myself when Eric laid the idea out there. What most of you don't realize b/c you're going by pics on the profile, is how much we beefed our bars up. Gussets wherever possible. and as you can tell, we've had no probs with lifting the body You'll see it once the chassis is tore back down for paint. I'm 100% confident in the setup, and the fact that its reversed. I had a 50/50 before the Bodydrop (installed by wicked kustoms) and drove the hell out of it for a year with not one problem. so everybody put down your glass of HaterAde and just answer the guys question:"how does this work"mike
