My intake has no vacuum lines.....infact my truck has none

Thats because you have side drafts, and had a Weber. You don't have to abide by the strict CA smog regulations. And I was talking about the vaccum lines that are on the bottom of the air intake, not the actual manifold itself.

oh i see...so the k & n filter and chrome housing from lc engineering wont fit on my stock carb? that sucks, i was kind of looking forward to getting that bulky intake system out. as far as the electric fan goes, i will be sure to do some homework on them.

the intake itself there are two hoses that connect underneath the aircleaner housing, one big one on top that connects from the lid of the air cleaner to the valve cover. and there is also one other that connects to this ball looking thing (im not sure what its called) that is part of the smog stuff.

oh and i would like to put an ignition system in it as well, but im not sure as to how it will effect the smog stuff in california...ill be coming back there in spring so the only way ill be to register it is to get it smogged, so it must be able to pass. would an ignition of any kind work on the smog aspect of things? or is there only a few smog legal ignitions out there (if that is even the case)...kind of like how the doug thourley header is ca smog legal and the majority of the others arent.

I have an MSD ignition system. It comes with stickers that say it is CA smog legal. Well, it says 50 state legal.

Can you take a picture of that last thing you said connect to your air intake? The ball thing? Mine as the two small vaccum lines on the bottom, and the larger crank case breather attatched to the top. And it also has a large piece coming off the smog pump. I am thinking of making an intake for the early carbureted motors that would look a lot better than the stock one, and gain more hood clearance for a BD at the same time. I am just wondering what fittings I would have to put on that come standard on most engines. Anything not standard would have to be added. But I have a pretty cool idea for an intake arm that would take a cone type K&N.

cool, that sounds pretty tight. i just got the motor pulled out last night so most of that stuff is taken off but ill take some pictures when i go out to the garage to work on my interior pieces.

100 bucks for the intake.....200 for the carb since seth wants the carb......you gotta come pick it up too.....lol
