Make a promise to buy it so I can get the carb. I can't use the manifold with my head, they dont fit, otherwise I'd buy it too.

you wont ship that intake? is it expensive to chrome stuff? ive only had stuff powder coated for my old suzuki lt-250, and it wasnt all that bad..couple hundred bucks for 80% of the bike.

Its expensive to get shit chromed here. I was quoted $250 to do my two pedals. Clutch and brake. I shipped them to Eric in Florida, and it cost under $100 with shipping there and back.

oh shit...well its probably going to be pretty cheap out here in ky then...ill have to do some research and find a place that does it out here.

cool, well i called lc engineering today, im prolly gonna get that adaptor to fit the k&n on my truck. unless someone has something better than it...i just dont want my stock induction system going back on...the guy said it will clear my hood since im not body dropped....i saw that they had chrome valve covers for like $100, iknow since theya re expensive and that seems pretty cheap for what it is..im going to look into getting mine chromed here it will prolly be cheaper to have it done myself here in ky....on that note, im going to look into getting my intake manifold chromed when i take my valve cover and some other parts. vut well see what happens...ill prolly make some calls tomorrow.

<-- Mentioned that he's prototyping intake arms for carbed trucks about 3 times now.

yeah i know, im interested in those prototypes but prototyps dont do me any good right now...im gonna get the motor back and ready to put in in three weeks...its just a matter of getting the parts together so when i get it back i can paint the block, put on the parts and put the motor back in...if you got some pics or if you think you'll have a finished product by then, let me know.

here is that ball thing i was telling you about....and those vent lines that go into the bottom of the stock air cleaner housing...what do i do with those vaccum lines and that big ball thing? the after market k&n set up doesnt have anywhere for that to go.
