im needing a radiator and i see one that is for sale from a 4wd version..that radiator is bigger than the 2wd right?? has more core??

I THINK THEY ARE THE SAME. I THOUGHT THE 2WD AND THE 4WD HAD THE SAME ENGINE SET UP WITH THE ONLY DIFFERENCE ENGINE AND TRANS WISE WAS THAT THE 4WD HAD A TRANSFER CASE. COULD BE WRONG THOUGH.

they are the same! the 3.0 V6's is a little bigger but still think that it will work with the stock mounting hardware and some flex hoses.

ok thats good i was just wondering if it was a bigger radiator that would hopefully have my truck running cooler..

i have issues w/ my temp guage..it goes all the way to hot..just before it hits the red then comes back down and levels out then goes back up to just below 3/4 way to heat

Might want to try flushin your radiator and throwing a new t-stat in it.

i put in a new thermo about 2yrs ago b/c i wasnt gettin heat, i got a hotter one. when i initially got the thermostat it was fine it went up, but never that close to hot before. but my radiator has a leak on the top neck so it needs replacement

dude, a good thermostat is one of the key parts in keeping an engine alive. technically you should change it once a year, but most people only do when they go bad. and the temp. jumping up and down like that could have alot to do with your fan clutch. with the truck switched off (no shit), turn the fan with your hand, if it turns freely you need another fan clutch.

uh oh LOL...i think i may need another fan clutch cuz i believe itll turn and spin for a sec or two afterwards too
