Phatboi, i have a 3.0 v6 in my 88 4runner, and a 22r in my 87 yota... the radiators are "generally the same, but where the top hose comes out of the radiator on the 3.0, it turns right at about a 50 degree angle, rather than being straight like the 22r radiator. (at least thats how mine are...) Looks like it will work, but it will need the flex hose, and you will end up turning the hose around right above your fan...

Do guys have diesels? Guys over here use diesel radiators for their upgrades as they have more cores.

Im thinking flush the radiator check the water pump see if its leaking from the weep hole, change the fan to a electric and use antifreeze not just water....I got alot of upgrades on mine and it barley runs hot...the most it will climb is 3/4 way and the fan kicks on.....and knocks it back down to a little under half....I really think a good flush and thermostat will fix this problem.

how do i flush my cooling system, through the block?? i want to do it while before i fully reassemble my truck

i dnt want to make another thread, but if i dnt get answers by tomorrow..new thread LOL..for real though

you could open the petcock and drain the fluid as your pouring more in while the the truck is running. it would take two people and a lot of water. or the best way would be to just fill it up run the truck, drain it, fill it up, run it, drain it, and so on until you get as much crap out as possible. a radiator shop might have somthing that hooks up to the motor and flushes clean fluid through it to clean it out. but i dunno for sure.
