whos painting there own rides

I painted my Dakota in my garage. First time I've ever painted. Some of it looks like crap.

I mean, from 50 feet away, at 50 mph, it looks damn good, but........yeah.

On the plus side, it cost me five HUNDRED dollars instead of five THOUSAND dollars.

was thinking about painting myself is it that hard i mean even strokes and alot of clear?

I painted my truck before I redid it all. I have also painted 3 Cars & 6 Trucks, 4 Jet Skies, 1 Motor Cycle frame & Tins.

ive painted a few of my friends cars, vans and im building a paint booth now so after that ill be painting everything i can get my hands on, i started out painting models and little things and primeing everything at the shop i worked at, then just went up from there, 'become one with the gun' watch the paint, clear as it lays on the car and spray it evenly and you will be alright
