i've never had any problems cleaning guns before because i always just ran whatever reducer i had leftover through them as soon as i finished spraying.. well this time i didn't have much extra reducer so i used paint thinner and it didn't clean hardly at all so then i had dried paint in my gun.. i took it apart and cleaned it better but when i took apart and soaked it one of the gaskets got screwed up. my question is what should i use to get that dried paint off and where can i get gaskets.. sorry about the long post thanx for any help

its not an airbush gun it's a paint gun-- i just used it to prime its a gravity hvlp ( i think it said central pneumatic-- if i spelled that right) but it's completely identical to another hvlp gun that my buddy has thats a different brand.

LACQUER THINNER!!! dont use reducer its too expensive, u can pick up a gallon of lacquer thinner for 6 bucks at menards or home depot or lowes. dont use paint thinner! all it does is make the paint clog up. just take the guna apart and soak the parts on a bucket of the lacquer thinner then whipe them town with a towel, will look good as new.

lacquer thinner works great... if you dont know a buddy that works at a body shop you can take it to most paint supply stores and they will run it through the washer for you.. it might cost alittle but gets really clean...
