okok, so that means, say i have tranny down 2 degrees, i space it up level, then i point my 1st shaft 4 degrees by raising the carrier bearing, (i'll leave it flat), then i can now raise my rear shaft a full 8 degrees, and then set the pinion on the rear end at 0 right?? i think im reaching zen!!

Try that jpeg file I emailed Cris.

Cris, thanks for the pic. If your going to set your tranny level why not set the front shaft at 3 or less? That would get you the correct operating angle in front?

What do you mean by leave it flat?

my whole reason for this is to be able to drive my ext cab f/s 1" off the ground with a 2 piece driveshaft and no vibrations and also a 29" tall tire.

i mean its bolted flat to the carrier bearing xmember in the truck.

Have you looked real close at the stock crossmember? On a dually there is a small hump where the stock carrier sits that changes its angle. Check yours out, I'm pretty sure GM used the same part.
