so you're tapping it without putting a crankcase vent? that will blow that thing up. I wouldnt do the oil mod on the store bought yorks. Airlift has their made from a different company with hardened internals, they can handle the pressure. That is what you do when you do the oil mod, put an extreme amount of pressure on it and without a crankcase vent, you'll blow that sucker up.

Getting them from Oreilys for 75 bucks is a lie, unless you have a half price discount.

They are 140 plus core without clutch, 180 with v belt clutch, remanned from ANY parts store. I just went and bought one about a month ago. I have over 600 wrapped into mine, piecing it together, using new/remanned parts and I still need to buy a trap and dip stick. Dont think its cheap!

Anything is possible....you just gotta get the brain juices flowin.

I pulled mine of a mids 80's volvo. If you plan on laying it on its side on the powersteering side make sure the suction port is closer to the hood when layed on its side.

should i run a in line check valve? i went to a few other sites that gave me a lot of information on this compressor, but they never said anything about a check valve.
