Question for russ-d or anyone else

Might read the thread again Ken. The reason there was confusion is that the truck was fuel injected, not because it was an automatic.

so where is it gunna be on a 2600i,, the same place?

i had the same problem, and it got to the point where my truck would only speed up to about 40mph. i tried everything you could think of fuel filter, spark plugs, dist. cap+new wires, cleaned carb, and tried that stuff u put in ur gas in cas water got in. but it turned out that my cat. was plugged up, i ripped it off and my truck runs great...hope it helps
