Im in the process of doing this at the moment. Supposedly some people have run them up to 400psi although Im not sure how long. 200psi should be no problem. You DO need an oiler or it wont last very long. From what I hear from people that have done it, its way faster than any electric compressor.

i had one on mine for about 6 months or so, but it gets really old having to oil it. so i said fuck it and picked up a york. thats the best way to go. but if you wanna run a stock mazda one, you need a water trap. i was running mine at 175 and had no problems

im runnin a AC pump on my mazda. I put an oiler on it and it was too much, so i just squirt some synthetic reciprocating compressor oil in the intake tube once a day and that runs thru the system to the water seperator before the tank. I run it at 175 all day long, and its fast, and quiet...it does bog the motor down a bit tho(but this is a mazda motor were talkin here, lol) do er up!! its way better than electric. I might upgrade to a york, but for now this works great for me!

I run one on my lincoln daily at 200+ psi. The only thing you have to be careful of is make sure you have oil in it and dont overheat it. I've fried 2 over the last year, but that was just me diong something stupid. Good thing they only cost $12.50.

Done it works great i dont have an oiler because the mazda compresers have a self contained oil system. the bolt on the top of the compresser holds the oil. i put energy release in mine to help no problems though. made a custom fitting and had a stainless line made ill put some pics of it in my profile in a coulpe of days. IM me if you got any other problems or ?
