130 amp alternator upgrade for the b2200 for under 150.00

i need this bad!

I have been looking HARD into this and it would APPEAR that the motors\cars below use the same alternator in this write up. The 95 Mustang Cobra had the 5.0 V8 but it, according to the list below should be the same alternator used on many Ford 3.8L V6 motors. I will be looking at a Thunderbird I know of in the junk yard next week and will know more then. DOUBLE CHECK before you run out and buy something, I found this in a chart on an ebay ad for an aftermarket Mustang Cobra alternator. It might just provide some more options in higher output alternators then having to look for JUST a Cobra alternator. And again...this is a GREAT write up!

I was gonna go the ford alt route but ended up going with the Gm 200 amp alt off ebay , bolted up pretty easy and only has 1 Wire. I also spents hours at the parts store looking for the best alt for what i needed.

only 1 wire? How did you wire it up then? Since thats something like I want is 150-200 amps. Really curious. Thanks and a awesome write up on the upgrade

I ran the wire to the starter were the main batt cable goes.... works awsome!!!
