How to install 01 & up Ranger Headlights

Great.... you did a hell-of-a good job anyone should be able to perform this mod...

how deep do the back of the ranger lights sit in, like compard to the mazda lights, are they shalower?

They do stick out about 1/8". They are not completely flush with the grille, but still look good. I didn't do this but you might be able to get them flush if you hammered back the core support at the healight area.

Eh, i disagree..... I like that guys that has the mustang headlights :-p

the mustang headlights don't fit, but the ranger headlights fit awesome. I may do this,. As far as the ights sticking out, why not take the grider to the opening, where the old lights sit in the core suppport. that way you can let them sit in that extra 1/8 inch.

Awesome write up though. I have been pondering on this for some time now, and now that I see how easy it is, I may do this. On my way to the salvage yard now to try and find some headlights.

Wonder how hard it would be to make this work and then install some nice HIDs

well, what I meant, was that the look don't fit. they don't go well. But that's my opinion. I ain't putting them on my truck no time soon, so it doesn't matter to me.
