How to install 01 & up Ranger Headlights

Yea i fixed it. I ripped it appart and removed all the spacers i was using. Thats y it was out so far. They then sunk in further and made it look great. Maybe at a later date i might tamper with the core support to make them flush. But im very happy with them now.

do the 01s have a flatter lens face than the 99s? i picked up a set of 99s... my grill shell cut outs are about the same shape as yours, but my 99 ranger headlights are quite curved... dont quite fit the shell...

i can tell you that the 99s i have have some kind of curved face... it doesnt come close to matching the angle of the grill... and ive seen a couple with the upgrade and they fit nice... my cut outs on the shell look exactly like the ones ive seen with the mod... my headlights dont have a flat lens... curved all around... im afraid to roll with the grill on cause it looks fugly... atleast right now it looks like underconstruction... i think with 01s or 02s i would be alright...

can you see the difference? i can... and my 99s wont look as clean as the 01s... when i have time i'll set the grill up and show you with pix... look at mine with the mod compared to the 01s how to with stock grill...

yea I thought the 01 ups were lil different...flatter lens

Thanks but yeah I knew that already. I had a 96 Ranger and did a front end swap to an 01 up front end a couple years back....learned LOTS about Rangers during that build, lol
