How to install 01 & up Ranger Headlights

hell ya this looks sweet mine will deffinately be getting this done this winter if i can find some lights cheap

i actually like the mustang light swap better. looks great imo. although rangers look good as well.. bodied's truck looks amazing with those lights, or it could just be me?

damn, i can only imagine how many grilles i would screw up trying to get the cut lines straight. i draw crooked lines even with a ruler

Do u keep the stock signal lights? or do they come off the ford ranger aswell?

you keep the stock signals in the bumper & the stock corner lights. but you can use the orange light in the rangers for a marker or signal.

So i just finished this mod and its super easy no doubt. And with this write up it took no time at all. However my lights stick out a good half inch maybe more. And while it looks good from the front, when u get up close it kinda looks stupid and pisses me off at ton. Did u do anything not mentioned in the write up to make them only sit out an 8th inch? Cause i need to fix this problem. and at the moment i havent any ideas

mine stick out a little, maybe 1/4". Dont look to terrible. The only thing I could think of maybe doin is take a hammer and pound back the core support where the lights mount. Kinda "redneckish" way of doin it but it should work. or just cut the are out and fab up some new brackets.

Is there nothin on the back of the light thats keepin it from goin back farther??? As far as I knew, you jus had to drill 3 holes and it magically fit perfect haha... Hell if you cut the core support out and make a bracket, you might as well do mustang headlights like mine
