lowmaz, send me some pics. if the arms arent right, ill send you another set. simple as that. but ill have to see some pics. these are made from some tough 1/4" thick DOM tube.

alot tougher than the DJM crap

Looking good Mike.
Can't wait to get a set.

Hopefully you can finish the Edge/Explorer lower arms soon. Please let me know when you do, because I would need a slight modification to mine.

Thanks,

Jason

couldbelower...when do you think you might have the new upper control arm brackets done? I wouldn't mind picking up a set, as long as they are slotted so that the caster/camber bolts, etc. can be used, along with the new control arms.

i have made some for my truck. they are not slotted. i also havent gotten around to putting them on yet...i will also be jiggin up some arms for my truck in the near future that will go with teh raised upper brackets but this might not be for a few weeks because i am really busy right now in school

Mike I will send you some pics so you can see how the spacing is incorrect! Either way you look at it they are better than the djm arms because there is no need to notch the mounts on the frame to lay out! Its not that I am not happy I just dont want to have something happen to me one day that all.

Couldbelower Did you remove the inner fenders, I forgot that I had spent 3 whole days extending my harness and moving the 3 plug block up under the dash!

with 17s stock arms will work just fine. i have 20s and am planning for 22's so its a little different. being bodydropped doesnt really have anything to do with the suspension

stock wheels work fine too, so does a stock stereo... etc etc etc

tube arms do 3 things

1. they just look 100 times better than ugly ass stamped steel parts.

2. they have correct balljoint angles to lay WITHOUT binding the balljoints....

3 they have poly bushings that are 100 times better than stock rubber.

have you ever seen someone break a balljoint? seen what the wheel does to the fender, door etc... not to mention the wreck you may have or cause because of breaking a balljoint. if you have a low truck that has had the suspension altered with stock arms, its very possible you could break a balljoint. what if it breaks while your doing 70 and you wreck someone else and kill them? then what? what if you get sued for having altered your ride to unsafe conditions?

most people will get tube arms just for the look, or just for the ease of installing bags, or the correct balljoint angles, the drop, etc etc etc... safety is the last thing on anyones mind.

tube arms are also about twice as strong as stock ones.

with small wheels stocks are fine... but when you get big wheels, you need to do it right....
