redoin the exhaust on my fullsize with the 350tbi and wonderin if i should keep the catalytic converter or toss it? i live in alabama, so we dont even have the word emission in our dictionarys.
dont really know a whole lot about the pros/cons of it Cris, but i have heard of ppl burning up valves when they run straight pipes(no cats, mufflers) b/c of lack of backpressure? just be careful u dont wanna fuck up ur motor
if you have 02 sensors on it you will need to change the post cat sensors with an 02 simm to keep the check engine light off and keep the motor running good

02 simm? Whats that cuz on my blazer, we just took the guts outa mine and my sensor keeps goin off? Is that a solution
yea go to summit racing and type in 02 simulator, or even google for that matter. what it does is replace the post cat 02 sensor and fools the computer into seeing ideal exhaust conditions.
I have a 98 Tahoe with a vortech 350 and I have true dual flowmaster exhaust with no cats. I also have the 02 Sims but those are shity and will burn out. Right now I have a corvette x pipe on there were the cats are normally...The truck is loud as fuck and pretty fast too. I would recomend either an x-pipe h pipe or some sort of blance between the two sides of the motor to keep back pressure...if not the valves can stick open and then the truck will run like asshole and sound like shit too...
