ok, I don't thread much here, but heres my two pennies. When you're building a set of front suspension components, its best to know EXACTLY! what kind of setup they will work on. Nine outta ten times, a setup is only tested on ONE suspension setup. For example, and I'm gonna get "hated" on here, BUT....lets take a pair of anyone's(I won't list a person or company's name cause I don't need to...this goes for ALL of them!) upper and lower arms. Are they designed to be used together? What are the upper and lower bag mount dimensions and mounting points? What size bag needs to be used? What balljoint will these work with? What is the overall suspension travel of this setup? What is the maximum tire and wheel size I can use and still lay with these? Do I need drop spindles still? And there are about a million other tiny but VERY important questions I've came up while half drunk off the Capn's Tattoo at 2 in the morning. Yet, the whole time I've been reading this whole front suspension debate between control and A-arm-makers and the world, the only thing that seems important to anyone is how good they look and if they make so and so truck on so and so wheel/tire lay out and when the hell a buyer is gonna get their money back 'cause the seller couldn't deliver.SO, with all that being written, I'd like to just ask ANYONE who purchased a set of arms from ANYONE give the person you bought em from a call and ask them the few simple and easily answered questions I've posted here. Keep in mind, it they didn't build your front suspension(adjustable setup, etc) then they can't be 100% certain that their arm will work. If they could, each piece would have to be built to a different spec. Instead of advertising "Will lay out on 20's" maybe they should include "Your results may vary" in fine print.
And finally, read the fine print next time guys...
