Yeah operator error... I think ya figured it out... lol.

Seriously though...

I have no suspension in there, no shocks, no steering components etc... just the arms with spindles with the hubs and rotors with wheels on... and the ball joints bind up... it couldn't get any more simple or easy to understand... I dont think I can make that any more basic.

The Ball Joints bind... its an easy thing to understand and comprehend. I don't doubt that yours or anyone elses work just fine, but mine don't as goes for a couple others by the sounds of it.

I wish mine worked so I wouldn't have to complain and deal with all this... i'd much rather be saying how happy I am with them, and how pleased i've been dealing with KustomWerks.

Eric if your out there... please let me know whats going on.

Sounds more like KustomWorks fmessed up on the ball joint angle . These parts are not pressed out like factory they all will not be the same . I dont get whats so hard to understand the guys frame is stripped bare nothing but Control Arms and Spindle . So nothing is in the way for them to bind but the BALL JOINTS which means they messed up on the Ball Joint angle plain and simple . Kustom Works said they would lay on 18s with no spindles and With Spindles on 20s so back the product up and redo the ball joint angle and eat the shipping cost which should not be charged to the customer .

Thanks man... finally someone that understands!!!

the only problem I see with changing the angle is that it will then bind at lift. Im thinking that it is more likely the length of the arms or the ball joint just doesn't have enuff articulation.

How far is the center of the balljoint from the center of the cross shaft?

Corey the truck does get pretty good lift though. Check to see if the uppers are binding at lift when you go out today. I dont think they are. You can probably stand to lose an inch of lift if you had to and change the BJ angle so it lays out on a 20 like it should. Right now they are pretty much binding on an 18" equivalent tire.
The balljoints are definetly binding. Coreys truck is sitting at the shop I work at. We have all had a look at it. The balljoints are binding. Its a pretty simple concept to understand. Its not the tie-rods, its not the bag mounts, its not operator error. Its the parts. plain and simple and it needs to be looked after ASAP because right now coreys chassis is just taking up floor space.

Measure your stocks too. I don't have Mazda arms on hand to measure, and I'm sure they are different than Toyota.
