Take everything off except the leaf springs, then you can put the link setup in.

you dont want to install your bags first because if your mounting them on the axle then the axle may be out of alignment just a little and it will twist the bag a little. and if your mounting them on the bars, well then obviously your 4 link needs to be installed first. i always take the leafs and everything off before i start mounting the 4 link. take some measurements such as wheel base and the distance of your wheel from your frame. just make sure its on the money before you go welding it all in. make sure your pinion angle is correct too! theres a lot of brainwork behind a 4 link its not something you just throw on and and hope it works.

ok i pretty much understand what u saying..

but expolain pinion angle exactly..and what does wheel base have to dow ith anything?? and the distance from wheel to frame..u mean jsut make sure its even on both sides??

leave the leafs on and then tack the axle in place so it wont move or change pinion angle, then remove the leafs and weld in lower bars, and then uppers and then remove the metal holding the axle in place and clean it up and then do baggies.

wait...tack the axle to what???...
