i dont nkow maybe it is the battery, but im lost, the battery has about 10 volts, but none of the lights or anything comes on, the only thing that will come on is the compressor, im lost, could it be the battery, i hate electrical stuff

10 volts isnt enough to do shit. the fuse diagrams for the dash and under hood are in the owners manual.

man i just give up, i dont know whats wrong with it , i just drove the truck last night, ran fine, when i push it it cranked right up, and now the lights wont even turn on, i just dont get how the headlights or anything wont turn on, i put the key in the ignition, turn, and nothing, but i can hit the switch for the compressor and it runs fine, i had an older battery layin around, and it read to have full charge, but the truck does nothing, all i did was change the relay, hooked everything back up, i even put the old one back on but still nothing, none of the fuses are blown, and the relay is reading 12 volts, i have not bolted it back to fender, and was wondergin if it was grouned by the metal on the fender, but would that have anything not working

have u checked the tightness of your battery cables? also your wire to your alt?

i have a blazer that stumped me, ended up going to the shop, sometimes u just gotta give up.

well on the old battery they were tight, and it still did nothing, on this one i have the cables just sittin on there, but i figured that would be ok jsut to see if the healights work, ill check the wire to the alt, i would like to take it to a shop, but around here, i dont really want to leave a bagged and b/d truck at shop with people who dont know how to work the air ride

hmm double check your wires again, and yes the solnoid has to be mounted for it to work.its definatly sumthin simple as my friend had a similar problem on her bagged/bd 96 ranger.

well know im pretty sure its either a fuse or a wire somewhere, my buddy knows more stuff than i do and helped me work on it a little, he got the truck to crank up but not stay on, he had a crewdriver and touched the two termials on the starter realy and it cranked up but didnt stay cranked up when he moved the screwdriver, when it was cranked thoguh i truned the headlights and stuff on quickly to see if they came on, and they did, so that was good, so what could it be, we looked on the clutch pedal to find a switch, but he didnt see one, so we found out what color the wire goin to clutch was and traced it from the wiring harness under the truck, and it ran to a plug, but the couldnt find the other end of the pug, but the wire seemed to go into one side of the plug, and out of the other side of it going back up, we stopped after that beacuse we had been messin with is all night, so i think he gonna help me some more tommorrow, but if thats helps any of you guys figure something out, let me know, and sorry for the long story
