Yeah without anything going through the middle of that bag its just go go whichever way it wants, I'd personally just take it back apart and order some of those bags with the hole through the center and maybe take a big ass rod and weld it to the bottom of you mount then have that upper threaded piece thread into it. But anyways I really like everything - looks good.

an upper control arm to the lower mount?

how will the splindle turn? Some sort of special joint?

i'ld have to make a bracket for the hub so that a ball joint can be bolted to the bracket

The only way i can see that being a problem is if the bag is fully inflated or near it. That not a very tall strut assembly....you should be fine.

the only problem with doing that is there wont be a strut on there. so when the bag deflates, that rod will go through my hood

couldnt you fab up a pivot bar on the lower end of the strut replacment something that would move with the wheel but also keep it from wobbling? BTW you ahve mee intching to cut up my cavv and ditch the easystreet strut bags

my set up is like yours, Mcpherson struts. it would actually be easier to make upper control arms than make a pivot bar, atleast thats what i think.

i was thinking about the pivot bar and it accually really wouldnt work too well...
heres another way i was thinking of doing it.
Move the bag lower so there will be less sway make the upper part of the strut solid (weld solid to frame) have the Mcpherson mounts just above the bag that way its basically from the nuckle to the top of the bag pivoting with the wheel instead of the whole assembly moving and it would reduce the chances of major problems?
i dunno if that makes sence to you im gonna try it though. whan you talked to air ride pro what did u ask them for because ill need some of those Mcpherson mounts

I did some thing simialar to my brothers rabit but a made an upper control arm and mounts. It worked good but the upper arm was so short when lifted fully, we had major bad positive camber. Look way cool I will try to find some pics.
