notice the "going to be" as in future wise. have ever you rebuilt one and seen how easy they are to take apart and put back together? and how awesome they customer service is? if you ever burn one up and its their fault, not yours, they will rebuild it with a new motor and what not. Vair would never do that shit. they are willing to replace anything that breaks because they are still engineering it to perfection

Actually... I had one of two Viair 450s fail on me that I got on a good deal from Airlift when the very first batch of chrome compressors came out, what, 4 years ago, around 2 1/2 years ago. The person (an authorized dealer) whom I bought it from left me up shits creek, so I turned to some other vendors, and they were kind enough to swap out the compressor for me.... no rebuilds, no taking shit apart, a whole new compressor, chrome too. Now I have one 4 year old 450 still pumping as hard as the day I got it, and one 2 1/2 year old compressor the same.... I'll stick with Viair for awhile long, which is why I would never have a problem putting one on any vehicle I put air ride on (and why I'm happy to have them as an advertiser on my site for a year).

So has anyone sent theirs out and got it back yet? I just got mine all ready to send out and I REALLY don't want to get screwed. Mine has like 20 minutes on it!

I want to buy 1 but being that this is my first bagged truck. I am very skeptical about getting one. on one hand it could turn out to be the best compressor I ever bought . on the other hand it could be the worst compressor. Now as far as the price $270 - $350 for one compressor. I since this is a new product and just like any other new product the price should have started out cheeper. and with the recall. I personaly don't want to be stranded on the side of the freekin road. so can somebody please give me some sound advice on what I should go with. I have also concidered going with nigogen. I know this might be the wrong place to post this. but my concerns a real and I would like noooo love to have some SOUND ADVICE.

I reposted the original message at my board at the Extravagant site. Sounds like we probably should just stay away from the Broken Azz Air Zenith though, ehh?

I just got my new AZ yesterday w/ the cooling fan on top. Has anyone had problems with the new ones that have the cooling fan?

i also just got both of my silver AZ compressors back yesterday (dec 6). they seem a little quieter, lets hope these last a little longer. I sent them in because one of them was bussed, and the other i just sent in for the recall. I got them back 6 days after they received them. All i have to say is that they have great customer service! for $50 (what it cos to ship them both back), i got two new compressors with a spare set of hoses, fittings. and air filters (kept the original stuff, to save on shipping weight)
