laying out and lifting to full height doesn't matter man, a semi's airbags oscilate millions of times more than any of our airbags on our trucks ever will. They also see much worse weather conditions than our trucks.
Airticulation only affects sleeve bags if they are completely bottomed out or extended. These bags are designed to be limited in their collapsed and extended heights. You can't just bolt them up in the rear and expect them to work forever. They will pull apart or crush themselves if they aren't installed correctly, with shocks or limiting straps, and with 1/4" slack when laid out
