Most people run DJM arms and you most likely will have to notch for your arms to come all the way and for your tie rods.
Check this out for some more help.

I believe you when you say you have stock arms, my confusion is how the djm arms bind up with factory balljoints on a 205/40/R17, just to lay engine crossmember.

So your saying that you just welded in a bag cup or some sort of mounting to the bottom and went from there. Did you have to notch the piss out of your frame to clear the factory arms? I trust you when you say that you have factory arms, I'm just confused on how you managed to be the only person I've ever heard of who just slapped in a bag and layed out.

I'm not trying to be a dick but I think there is more to the story than I threw in a bag.

IM DONT THINK IM THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE THAT HAS COMPLETELY STOCK ARMS THAT LAYS --IM REALLY NOT SURE WHAT THE BIG DEAL IS ---

THE BOTTOM A ARM SIMPLY HAS A FLAT PLATE WELDED TO IT (SO THE BAG CAN BOLT UP TO IT) -- AND THE TOP A ARM IS STOCK -- THE FRAME WAS CUT AND CLEARED SO THE BAG WOULD NOT RUB CONSIDERING I HAVE 2600 UP FRONT -- THE FRAME WAS NOT NOTCHED FOR THE TIERODS -- SINCE LIKE I SAID THEY ARE NOT BINDING --- SHORTER SWAY BAR ENDLINK WERE PLACED ON THE TRUCK SO I CAN KEEP MY SWAY BAR --- AND A SHOCK MOUNT WAS FABBED UP ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE LOWER A-ARM SO I CAN STILL HAVE FRONT SHOCK --- ITS PRETTY MUCH HOW I DESCRIBED IT -- THE BAG IS PRETTY MUCH JUST THROWN IN THERE BOLTED TO THE PLATE ON THE BOTTOM --- A CUP IS MOUNTED TO THE TOP AND THATS IT !!! HOPEFULLY THAT HELPS SOME ---

huh, impressive. I got nothing then, I know everyone seems to have different problems with each ranger. What's funny is it doesn't even look like you have an ungodly amount of camber, although you are running the same skinny ass tires I'm going to have to run.

I figured you would at least have to take some out of the lower control arm in order for it to swing up high enough and not hit the frame. Similiar to what some of the dime guys have to do. And what I thought rangerlover did to his.

it just doesnt sound right cause on stock arms with 18s my engine crossmember was 3" off the ground, to even lay on stock arms i had to re plkate the top of the lower arms and re angle the top ball joint. I dont understand how you got away with basically a set of cups. is your frame z'ed or did you just bodydrop a lot?

OK GUYS DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH -- BUT I WILL TRY TO TAKE SOME PICS OF THE SETUP TONIGHT AND POST THEM UP ---
