First let me say.....I bought this truck a while ago, I believe April of last year and just got fed up with the little shit that kept happening. I drove it for about a month, and knowlingly bought it as a project, but just got so pissed at it I let it sit for a while. Well, i'm back on it, and spending more money than ever It hasnt been a running truck since maybe...June? Its getting a full rebuild bumper to bumper, right now the motor is getting all the attention.

pic of the actual truck when all sheet metal and crap was on. the whole front clip was garabage, possibly the hood is salvageable. The inners fenders are fine, but the fenders had warped mounting edges and shit. So, new fenders and grill/grill components will be ordered, hopefully used, but if not, I guess the bank is there for a reason.

the bed and body are actually very solid, as was the front clip, it was just full of mud from a tree collision I guess. Not really sure what they hit, but it dented the frame so the core support mount wasnt flat. Not a big deal, new frame will be purchase soon enough. This frame MAY make a couple shows just to get the truck on the road a bit. All ugly, but fun to drive none the less.

Also, it's a 302 windsor family, 3 speed on the tree, 9 inch rear. pretty sure 2:73 or the like gears, and no clue what tranny, i forgot what it is haha.

Motor is getting dipped as we speak, should see machine next week or the following, ordering parts once that is done, por 15 will be sprayed on most likely on the motor, and a custom mix paint orange with yellow pearl, or yellow with orange pearl on all the "goodies". (alternator/valve covers/intake/oil pan/pulleys

Looks like you got a good solid truck to start out with. Good luck with it.

badass bro! my jeep had mud caked 2in tall on top of the rear frame rails so i feel ya lol. mite as well have the cab/bed blasted have u checked for rot yet? i know in the spot behind the fender were the hingers bolt is bad about rottin out..

no rotting in the engine bay other than where the batteries set and its not holes, I think some naval jelly and massaging will get all that out. Engine bay is really solid suprisingly. The floors need some repair, and thers a little flap where like the back wall and the sides come together, almost like a pinch molding, but not...and it needs to be replaced.

Ill get a pic of that up, maybe you guys can tell me how to get that worked out. Soon as I get the motor back and done, the new frame, and some sheet metal the cab is coming off to get mocked up on the new frame. Will be blasted and worked at that point.
