Just keep in mind that the valve covers will be gone and replaced as soon as I can afford spending money on something isnt hardly needed right now.

wasn't really liking the gun i sprayed this with, but it did okay. there are some runs, but most are hidden behind the fenders. sooner or later the cab is getting media blasted. Probably after it is solid and not all crappy. Anyways, on to the pics.

i am still contemplating paint as I have a few ideas for the truck that would really make it stand out wherever I go. Of course, this is all long term mods. and thats if i even finish the truck. I really want to a build a 35 ford or something of that nature right now. The truck is moving along though. motor should go in once I figure out how to clean the tranny and paint it. Probably just going to wire wheel it, and throw some black or silver engine enamel on it for the time being.

I am just trying to have it at the coast for STC and MAYBE UNITE down in live oak. that will be a godsend if it goes that quick though.

they do, but i think it is too bright on this big of a body after messing with photoshop a bit. I am looking at doing a silver to dark gunmetal 50's fade. nothing real sharp but more gradual than most fades you see now on newer trucks. The body line one way or another will have a large ammunition round or missile on it at the front tip with smoke or "wind" trailing behind it for a couple feet. I like the whole 50's look, but I want it more contemporary/custom rather than "hey hes mocking a 50's custom." If that makes sense.

i hope it makes it, but I have to get the motor in, figure how to do a first fire on a new motor without fucking anything up (wiping a cam lobe or something) and figuring out the tranny and brakes. Lots of work, little money.

i've been having a hell of a time with this motor, but it's finally coming along. Every time I say I am ready to get it in the truck, I go out and buy my next part. Guess it's not a terrible thing, but none the less it is slowing down getting it in the truck. Hopefully friday I can get it sitting on the mounts and bolted up.

I got the dizzy in, no more points ignition, just swapped to electric with an ACCELL kit. Hope to have my chrome accessory kit on the way. New motor mounts on the block, new fuel pump, oil pump sensor, and water pump. New bolts and crap too, for those I could find.

Nothing "custom" but it's an update for me. Good to see it getting back to almost running.
