everything from 67-72 swaps over. might not line up perfect (grills changed, so the lower valance/bumpers varie) but sheetmetal is identical.

SOME of the 73-79 stuff swaps over with a little modifications. I need front sheet metal, so I will look for that around town, don't need a full truck.

i love your quote about not cuttin it just draggin it till the door and frame are level. i have an 85 toyota pickup and i plan on layin about 1" of door without hackin off body panels. Trucks got more rust than it does metal so im kinda afraid of the fenders or parts of the bed flyin off but i really dont care. Props with the build man i'm lovin it keep postin pics along your way.
And just wondering how far till you lay however much door you want?(like how much SFBD)

no clue yet, stock frame is 6 inches tall though, so just doing a 4 inch frame with the body mounts moved with will give my 2 inches. (i think) Body is only like 1 inch higher than the frame right now. About that anyways.

motor is at the machine shop, getting reworked along side the crank and rods. heads will be dropped off thursday for a dip and rebuild. once the heads are torn down, and everything is machined and ready for assembly he is calling me to pick it up, ready for paint. Will be painted and returned.

I need color suggestions guys, I dont really know what I want. I photoshopped my truck how I thought I did, and its just not how I pictured it.

I want something that will stand out, and bring out the truck as a whole, but not something everyone has.

I think I may just coat the block with some clear engine enamel so it wont get all shitty, but still have a neutral color until i REALLY want to paint it.

oh and its getting a light orange/pastel primer to start off. will epoxy prime first, do body work on what i have stripped (firewall) and spray the color i want so I can see some color for a change.
