It needs to be inside the frame rails, and raised. If you have one from 3rd shift customs, it will need heavily modified.

what kind mods will be needed for the cab on just a Z w/no bodydrop?

Raise the tranny tunnel and notch the cab for the tranny. There should be pics in my profile of both.

I already have a transmission cross member that sittins flush with the frame rails, do you mean i have to raise the tranny to be even with the engine once you z it?

Yes, you need to do that as well. The new tranny crossmember needs to be inside the rails AND raise the mounting point to level back out the engine.

what did you do with your wiring harness on the driver side i cant make it out too well in your pic of it

I cut it completely off, and extended every wire into the cab. Mounted the fuse box upside down on the inside firewall behind the radio.

Now on my buddies truck, we moved the fusebox towards the engine made a new bracket to hold coming up off of the frame. Then I just slid the plugs into the hole on the wall.

you got any good pictures of the one you did on your buddys and yours, where did you end up running all the wires.

Actually I'm reworking where I'm running my wires right now, so I'll take some pics for you. We ran my buddies the same direction, but his fusebox is still under the hood. I'll load them up tonight and show them to you.
