i dont know if id trust that spindle only because its cast and they have to be heat treated after you weld them. You might wanna look into that some more....

Ya i know i had them heated with a torch when i welded them and had them cool slowly in sand, well speedy dry, for 4 hours before i handled them, i heard that worked. and so far they have held up through the punishment. i dropped the car from 18 inches off the ground and nothing broke. so i prayin that nothin ever does but im sure its bound to happen.

people are shocking there setups, why would you need a two link????? this is independent suspension!

oh ok yea shocks wud make the ride so much better, i just dont see how you can rely on spindle's to be the only thing liftin and lowerin the car, could you put a link bar from the upper control arms to where the fork used to be? or no room?

Yea, that might work, part of my brain is telling me that through articulation that the bar would need to change length and the other part of my brain is telling me that the bar from the fork could stay the same lenght through suspension travel, Im not worried cause i have factory spindles and mine are not sectioned!

i most likly will be runnin shocks because i had to take out my sway bar, plus i dont want it to be all over the road when im goin down the highway. It's safe if you do it right, well i hope, this is my first car and my first time building something like this... I'm doing all this in my auto tech class in my high school, but so far everything is safe it just feels like your in the ocean when you drive it because it doesn't have shocks. The only thing im worried about is my spindles. I welded them my self so im praying. Ill keep every body updated with my progress.

Why did you take your sway bar off? also do you have a pic of the notch u made for your tie rods and axles? I dont know what to do cause my unibody is sitting on the tie rods and axles and im afraid that if i dont cut a notch that the tie rods will snap or bend but i dont know if i want to go any lower cause my tires will have to go hrough my fenders and my control arms will go through the hood and also my ball joints look like there almost binding if they are not already, I know yall dont have the ball joint problem cause you sectioned your spindles but i cant do that cause my wheels???????????????

ya you dont have any room that sucks... On my car there was plate that hung off my frame about an inch so i just cut into it up to my frame that gave me the room. You could flip your tierod over as for the axle on my driver side i am going to cut into it and weld a peice of pipe back in there, ill try to get some pics up... but today i put my car through hell i the shop, i put a lot of stress on the spindles and they didn't break so im hopin they hold up,i will most likly be runnin shocks though.

o andi took my sway bar off because it was stopping me from going any lower. That was the first thing that hit the ground for me, so i just took it out i can always put it back but ill just end up draggin through it. Illkeep everyone updated

also my drivers side sits higher and the tire isnt rubbing, i know its cause the transmission is on the passanger side and the angle of the axle is not as steep as the passenger side, i wanna see yalls notches for the tie rods and axles
