would running tubulars or somthing to pull the tires in a bit more up top work in clearing the hood? I don't know about your car, but wouldnt a shorter upper do something for you?

here's my update... i fu**ed up i have to re-do the entire front end. First of all im not satisfied that i only set it up for 17's but i just found out im losing my license for 3 to 6 months so i have plenty of time to do everything. There is zero camber in the front all the way down, i dont mind it besides the fact that my tires hit my fenders. So i need to make it have some negative camber in the front to clear my fenders.

I'm not sure if runnin tubular control arms will help other then the fact that i will have more angle with my balljoint. So right now im putting the front end aside and im going to finish canilevering the back. I'm only setting it up for 18's so the only thing i need to do is replace the pressed bushings with regular bushings and the added weight of everything in the trunk (fuel cell, stereo, ect.) will make it flex enough to lay out. for 20's i would move where everything is bolted, up 3 inches. that should make it lay out i was going to do that but I'm not running that big anymore. All I have to do for the front is move everything in towards the center of the car 2 inches but i dont feel like messin around with it right now. But i want to know what you all think of my 17's, do they look better then stock.

of course they look better than stock!

I finally started re-doing the front and for the notches in my frame i cut it out with a torch and welded a 1 1/2 inch peice of pipe in there, well half the pipe, so it looks clean, i'm not running that big a wheel so i only had to notch it a lil bit, i also flipped my tierod ends so they didn't have to be notched. Finally the bitch lays body in the front not just a lil bit off the ground. chea. pics are comin soon

I tried flipping the tierods on mine, the bump steer was horrible. I had to flip them back, it was all over the road.
