I really do like my york alot. I would definitly want to use a york compressor vs. 2 electric ones. I think the yorks are typically putting out like 10 cfm running about 2500 rmp some shit like that vs. the 2 electric ones that probly are pushing around 5-6 cfm, oh and the york is very quiet. i have one for my 350 and the braket is very strong. mounted on the bottom left. Never had to change the cultch (i have v-belt). I spent 25 bucks at the junk yard, like 7 bucks for the longer belt and had some 1/4 steel laying around. So a total of 33 bucks i spent.

Ok, know im new to the Engine Driven system, and i just aquired one from a junk yard that im going to rebuild. Know here is the Dumb question. There are two lines that come off the top of the compressor. I know one is to be run to the air tank, but what about the other line, is it a return line or a oil line? If it is a oil line, where is the best place to run it to. Then my hopefully dumb last question, I know the system has a clutch, also i know the tank has a pressure switch, but what prevents the engine driven compressor from blowing up my air tank? Because the York only has a ground on it, so im guessing the the compressor may have a built in pressure switch or something.
